What should I wear?

We would love to see our family and friends dress up with us! But considering the terrain is mostly dirt and can be a bit rocky please wear clothing that you feel comfortable walking around in. We strongly discouraged high heels but block heels are doable if you are confident with them.

The weather has historically been in the low 70s for the daytime in mid May but please bring layers like warm jackets and leggings as the temperature will drop to as low as 40° in the evening.

Don’t be afraid to go all out! If you’ve been waiting for an excuse to wear your over the top ballgown or pull out that suit with the funky pattern, this is your moment. Extra points for vintage ♥️

Registry

Instead of asking for more things that we really don’t have room for, we are asking for help with funding our honeymoon and/or the materials to build our future house. Any help you would like to give us would be greatly appreciated! Here is a venmo link you could use and there will also be a cash box on site

Travel and parking

The property we are on has fairly limited parking so we do ask that you carpool as much as possible. A lot of cars will need to be parked at the top of the property and we will have a shuttle car to bring you down to the wedding site 🙂

DAY GUEST PARKING & ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS

Arrival Time

Please arrive between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM on Saturday. Shuttles stop at 1:30.

Parking Instructions

The navigation pin will bring you to the gate at the top of the property.

All day guests will park at the top of the property.

A shuttle will transport guests down to the ceremony and reception area.

Because the property is remote with narrow mountain roads, please:

  • Drive slowly and carefully
  • Follow parking attendants’ instructions
  • Allow extra travel time
  • Carpool if possible

There is no cell reception near the property, so please review all instructions before heading out. Wifi will be available at the reception location.

CAMPING GUEST PARKING & ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS

Arrival Time

Camping guests should arrive BEFORE 12:00 PM on Saturday.

This allows time to park, set up camp, and settle in before guest arrivals and the ceremony.

Camping & Parking Instructions

The navigation pin will bring you to the gate at the top of the property.

Upon arrival, you may choose your camping and parking location anywhere EXCEPT:

  • The barn area
  • The cabin area
  • The ceremony area and pathways leading to it

Please be mindful of access roads and leave room for guest traffic and shuttle access.

Because the property is remote with narrow mountain roads:

  • Drive slowly and carefully
  • Follow any parking guidance provided onsite
  • Download your maps before leaving cell service

There is NO cell reception for the final portion of the drive. There will be wifi at the reception site.

We’re so excited to celebrate this weekend with all of you. ❤️

Where should I stay?

We have checked out 2 hotel options that you can look at. There are also a few nice looking airbnbs in the area. But if you’re really feeling brave, feel free to bring your camping gear and find a place to set up! There are all sorts of beautiful nooks to enjoy nature at it’s finest.

Unfortunately we do not have this property set up as a campground though, so bring a way to hold water (you can definitely refill it) and plan on making like a bear and going in the woods. We will have an outhouse next to the reception site but depending on where you stay, that could be a bit of a hike.
